Seafight

The Game Basics

In this free to play pirate MMO game, you'll find yourself as the captain of a pirate ship. You start off small, and work you way up in everything from your ship to your crew to your gold. You move through the game, doing quest and fighting monsters, you will work your way up the pirate ladder to become one of the strongest, most notorious pirates in the seven seas.
Like any other MMO game, you start off choosing your name, which will become your captain name and show up beneath your ship for all to see. You then choose a server to play on, there are eastern Europe servers (4), western Europe servers (9), and American servers (3)that you can choose from depending on where you live in the world.
While this is a pirate game, and it's hard to vary them much, it's unique in more ways than I can count. One of the major ways that this game is unique is that there is nothing to download to play. Players play completely online and you don't waste time logging in or out of a server, downloading patches, or any of the other junk that normally goes along with a free MMO game that you have to download. I give the basic game itself a good 5 out of 5.

Graphics

The graphics are a bit small, especially when it comes to the battlefront. But, this really makes no difference – as even as small as they are, the detail is great and realistic, especially on the crew's photos, gear, and more. There was a lot of time and effort put into the graphics here to make them realistic, which I for one appreciate. When it comes to the actual battles and the sea itself, I'm impressed as the monsters, the ships, the land, and the water all look awesome as well, especially for a free MMO game. So, I give the graphics on Seafight a solid 5 out of 5 as well.

Game Play

In the game, you aren't just out shooting monsters or saving princesses. You also have to keep an eye on your crew, which means keeping them healthy with food, life vests, and, of course, Rum. You have to keep an eye on your weapons, for both other pirates and monsters. And, you have to learn how to keep your ship in top shape, your ammo full, your quests in high gear, how to deal with the trader, how to shop from the bazaar, and much more. As you move along in the game, you will find what works best for your playing style, how to keep your crew healthy and happy, and how to upgrade as quickly as possible without losing too much gold or pearls. Personally, I love the game play, as it pulls different areas from different types of MMO games, and still allows you enough freedom and uniqueness to make the game worthwhile. So, for the game play, I give Seafight yet another 5 out of 5.

Overall

If you love pirate movies and games, and you love MMO games, then this is one you need to check out. I play when I need a break from the normal MMO games out there as a way to get out of the monotony of spell casting and grinding away on wolves. So, make sure that you check out this great, free online pirate MMO game the next time you get a chance at www.seafight.com.

Crysis 3 DX10 Hack

As you already know, one will need a DX11 capable graphics card in addition to the insane  system requirements  to be able to run Crysis 3. Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said that the Crysis 3 is planned to be DX11 only, destroying the hopes of people running DX10 video cards who had previously expected Crysis 3 to run on a DX11 renderer but still support DX10 just like Crysis 2. However, do you remember Crysis: Warhead? Back then, Crytek decided that the gamers will need to upgrade their DX9 systems in order to play on enthusiast video setting. It was only a matter of time before someone discovered a way to bypass Crytek`s marketing nonsense that supported Vista and new $$$ graphics cards. The same thing is happening now, although some things are different in Crysis 3. Crysis 3 brings us fancy video rendering features like Tessellation and Ambient Occlusion that are DX11 exclusive. But what if you have an older GPU setup like GTX 295 which is a dual GPU card and you really...
