Last Chaos

I am definitely happier with the game play in Last Chaos then any of the free to play mmorpgs out there. There is a bit of grind, but honestly what kind of online rpg doesn’t have that now and days.

And even though the grind is there, it isn’t as boring as grind can be. Right from the start the attacks and animations look nice and it’s actually really fun to watch your character beat up on monsters. I am currently playing a rogue and watching her jump around all over the place while slashing up monsters with her knives is very enjoyable.

There’s a nice crafting system implemented into the game. It a nice feature that puts the game a step away from a boring grinds. If you’re tired of beating up on monsters you can go mind and such, and make things to sell in the item mall. You can also attempt to upgrade items without out loosing the item you are upgrading! Yay!

There’s a personal dungeon system for solo play if you’re feeling in the mood for that. It’s a nice way to gain exp as you’ll be fighting big mobs of monsters. It can be a nice challenge as well. The personal dungeon kind of reminds me of the missions on Rakion, without the freestyle play of course.

For PvP combat either you can go and battle in an Arena, or join a PvP dedicated server. I’m not much of a PvP kind of person, but from what it seems it is being developed nicely. The there are guild battles and castle sieges, and the strategies for combat are completely different from fighting monsters.

The graphics in this game are definitely pretty. They aren’t so over the top that my computer can’t run them, but they also aren’t dull. There is plenty of detail in the terrain, and the characters weapons and armors and such are plenty more then bearable. For my pc the graphics are perfect. I wouldn’t have them any better or worse sense they are right at the point where the average pc, like mine, can run the game smoothly and still look good. I of course had to give it an 8.5 because they aren’t spectacular, but if I had a graphic preference I wouldn’t change them.

There are not many games that can brag about having as helpful of a community as Last Chaos. Help is easy to find in this game, just ask in town and you’ll right away get an answer. There’s also a nice feature in the game to help noobs. It’s called the guardian system, and once you reach level twenty, you can train with a newbie until they reach level twenty. If they reach it within a weak, you get reputation points.

All in all this is a game I highly recommend to anyone who likes online rpgs. You rarely will get bored playing as there is so much to do, something rare to see in other online rpgs.

Crysis 3 DX10 Hack

As you already know, one will need a DX11 capable graphics card in addition to the insane  system requirements  to be able to run Crysis 3. Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said that the Crysis 3 is planned to be DX11 only, destroying the hopes of people running DX10 video cards who had previously expected Crysis 3 to run on a DX11 renderer but still support DX10 just like Crysis 2. However, do you remember Crysis: Warhead? Back then, Crytek decided that the gamers will need to upgrade their DX9 systems in order to play on enthusiast video setting. It was only a matter of time before someone discovered a way to bypass Crytek`s marketing nonsense that supported Vista and new $$$ graphics cards. The same thing is happening now, although some things are different in Crysis 3. Crysis 3 brings us fancy video rendering features like Tessellation and Ambient Occlusion that are DX11 exclusive. But what if you have an older GPU setup like GTX 295 which is a dual GPU card and you really...

Martial Heroes

Get ready to dive into the world of Martial Heroes, and for all of you who think that this is "just another free, anime MMO", you are desperately wrong, my friend. Martial Heroes features huge, extensive worlds, (yes, it's not all just on one map). Worlds include dark dungeons, open fields, snowy mountain caps, lava pits, sand dunes, and bustling cities. Much more indepth then most MMOs, there are weekly guild and faction wars, war zones, and pk safe zones. Lots of players and guilds, plus two side to go (lawful and evil) make for one thrill of a ride as you dive into the realm which is Martial Heroes. On a side note, Martial Heroes is free to play and pledges to ALWAYS be free to play. It will never become pay to play. The graphics are little short of unbelievable. These graphics would pass inspection even in a game in which you would have to buy, or subscribe to. They are around that of Dungeon Siege, if you guys are familiar with that game. Perhaps a ...
